some support from some republicans that were outraged he delayed a vote on hurricane sandy relief. boehner and nancy pelosi are officially nominated in about 40 minutes or so. then the voting begins. we want to bring in our team keeping a close eye on history being made. of course, wolf blitzer and gloria borger are in washington and dana bash live on capitol hill. wolf, we'll start off with you. you've probably lost count on the number of times you have covered this event and watched this take place. we'll talk about boehner in a minute, but talk a little bit about the diversity we see in this congress. never the liking before. record number of women in the senate, record number of latinos in the house. how will this impact whether or not the president can get more done in the second term? >> well, as important as it is to have a congress, a house and a senate that looked like the united states of america and there will be 20 women as you point out among the 100 senators, there will a lot more women and minorities, hispanics and african-americans in the house of representatives.

6-year-old noah pozner, who was among the 20 children killed at sandy hook elementary told anderson there were fake websites, facebook pages and e-mails going around asking for donations in noah's name. drew griffin and producer david fitzpatrick tracked one of those e-mails to a woman in the bronx. her name was noelle alba, and went to her house. here is what happened next. >> oh, hi, are you ms. alba? you set up, you say, donations on behalf of one of the victims of the newtown tragedy. >> no. >> no? your name and your address on the e-mail? can i come in with a camera crew? no? >> alba eventually agreed to let her voice be recorded and denied she had anything to do with the e-mail asking for donations. here's more of what she told producer david fitzpatrick. >> this has your e-mail on it right there. this is about noah pozner's funeral. >> i never sent that. >> take a look at it, ma'am. it's got your e-mail all over it. look at the second page. gives your paypal account and a bank routing number you say you set up. >> that's not my paypal account. i mean, i have a paypal account

friends and 6 adults, the little kids at sandy hook elementary are going back to class. no question it will be heart-wrenching for the parents, for the teachers, and for the kids it will be an adjustment. they're in a new space, a nearby middle school that's been transformed to look just like their familiar and beloved sandy hook elementary. in fact the movers took photos of the old school and arranged everything in the new classrooms to look just like the old schools. our deb feyerick is not far away in monroe, connecticut, the old chockhill middle school. this must be a very tough day, but at the same time for the folks of newtown, it must feel like they're returning to some kind of normalcy. >> reporter: yeah, no question about it. it was a telephone day. you know almost the toughest thing about it, the fear of going back, wondering what it would be like. we spoke to one mom. she said that school started on time, quote, it's an amazing day. she describes volunteers and counselors, therapy dogs in the halls, if a child feels anxious, they can go up to the dogs, give them a big hug

damage from superstorm sandy we stand with you and we got your back. two months later massive bills are due and congress has failed to act. though some big name legislators are scrambling to make up for it a lot of badly hurting people are absolutely furious with what today in washington. people who live or once lived in places like this seaside heights, new jersey where entire beach front community were washed away or people who had to bike to walk network or stranded at home after the nation's subway system flooded, people out on long island where hold chunks of the power grid were blown away. a lot of homes as well blown away. hospital patients who were stranded at three major new york city hospitals when they were shut down. one of those hospitals is still almost completely out of commission. a lot of people hurting. and a very big, big price tag making things worse. storm damage could hit $80 billion nationwide and parts of the bill are coming due anyay now. fema's flood insurance program. almost out of money. and faced with that reality the people on one side of this building
